WebSite Starter Kit

Why start from scratch when you can start with many of the common web site features? From data storage (with db4o) to users/authentication, and configuration to unit testing. The WebSite Starter Kit project is a base for any web site/application built using ASP.NET/C# 2.0 and db4o (www.db4o.com).

Use in conjunction with the CodeConstruct application and the WebSite Starter Kit snippet archive to help rapidly build new projects and features.

Why start with the WebSite Starter Kit?

  • Save time normally spent creating the core functionality of your project (data, authentication, accounts, configuration, unit testing framework, etc.)
  • Reuse your code between projects by having a common core framework
  • Start with the WebSite Starter Kit snippet archive and use CodeConstruct to help rapidly build your projects and features
  • Built-in unit testing support allows you to run your tests via the browser wherever the project is installed
  • Learn from a working framework how to use ASP.NET 2.0, C# and db4o to power a web site or web application
